The Prophet's Special Status

Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) is the Seal of the Prophets (Khatam an-Nabiyyin), the final messenger sent to all of humanity. He said: "My example and the example of the prophets before me is like a man who built a house and perfected it, except for the place of one brick. The people went around it and wondered at it, saying: 'Why has this brick not been put in place?' I am that brick, and I am the seal of the Prophets."

Every Muslim should send Salawat (blessings) upon the Prophet regularly, especially on Fridays. The reward is immense: "Whoever sends one blessing upon me, Allah will send ten blessings upon him." - Sahih Muslim
