Al-Bidya Mosque stands in Al-Bidya village, 40 km north of Fujairah city, and is the oldest surviving mosque in the UAE, believed to date to circa 1446 AD (14th century). Built from sun-dried mud brick and local gypsum, it features four distinctive domes of varying sizes.
