Morning Duas
أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ
Asbahna wa asbahal-mulku lillah, walhamdu lillah, la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah
We have entered morning and the kingdom belongs to Allah, and praise is to Allah. There is no deity except Allah alone with no partner.
Muslim • Daily morning protection
اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا وَبِكَ نَحْيَا وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ
Allahumma bika asbahna wa bika amsayna wa bika nahya wa bika namutu wa ilaykan-nushur
O Allah, by You we enter morning, by You we enter evening, by You we live, by You we die, and to You is the resurrection.
Tirmidhi • Allah's protection throughout the day
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ (٣ مرات)
A'udhu bi-kalimatillahi at-tammati min sharri ma khalaq (3 times)
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created. (Recite 3 times)
Muslim • Protection from all harm
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ
Allahumma inni as'alukal-'afiyah fid-dunya wal-akhirah
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter.

Evening Duas
أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ
Amsayna wa amsal-mulku lillah, walhamdu lillah, la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah
We have entered evening and the kingdom belongs to Allah, and praise is to Allah. There is no deity except Allah alone with no partner.

Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama', wa huwas-sami'ul-'alim (3x)
In the name of Allah with whose name nothing is harmed on earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (3 times)

اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا وَبِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا وَبِكَ نَحْيَا وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
Allahumma bika amsayna wa bika asbahna wa bika nahya wa bika namutu wa ilaykal-masir
O Allah, by You we enter evening, by You we enter morning, by You we live, by You we die, and to You is the final return.

Rizq & Provision
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Allahumma-kfini bi-halalika 'an haramika wa aghnini bi-fadlika 'amman siwaka
O Allah, suffice me with what You have allowed instead of what You have forbidden, and make me independent of all others besides You.
Tirmidhi • Most powerful dua for halal income
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhaban-nar
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Quran 2:201 • For worldly & spiritual success
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and accepted deeds.
Ibn Majah • Prophet's daily morning dua
وَمَن يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُۥ مَخْرَجًا • وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ
Wa man yattaqillaha yaj'al lahu makhraja. Wa yarzuqhu min haythu la yahtasib
And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out. And will provide for him from where he does not expect.
Quran 65:2-3 • Opens doors of unexpected provision
Health & Healing
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ، اشْفِهِ وَأَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
Allahumma rabban-nas adhhibil-ba's, ishfi wa antash-shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uk, shifa'an la yughadiru saqama
O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the harm, heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness.

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ
A'udhu bi-kalimatillahit-tammati min kulli shaytanin wa hammatin wa min kulli 'aynin lammah
I seek refuge in Allah's perfect words from every devil, harmful creature, and evil eye.
Bukhari • Protection from evil eye & envy
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ، مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَوْ عَيْنِ حَاسِدٍ اللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ، بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ
Bismillahi arqeeka, min kulli shay'in yu'theeka, min sharri kulli nafsin aw 'ayni hasidin Allahu yashfeeka, bismillahi arqeeka
In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah for you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye, may Allah heal you, in the name of Allah I perform ruqyah for you.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazan, wa a'udhu bika minal-'ajzi wal-kasal, wa a'udhu bika minal-jubni wal-bukhl, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijal
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry, grief, incapacity, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, being overcome by debt and being overpowered by men.
Bukhari • Prophet's dua against anxiety
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimin
There is no deity except You; glory be to You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.
Tirmidhi • Dua of Prophet Yunus, removes distress
حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal-wakeel
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
Quran 3:173 • For peace of mind & trust in Allah
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ ابْنُ أَمَتِكَ نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي وَنُورَ صَدْرِي وَجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي
Allahumma inni 'abduka ibnu 'abdika ibnu amatika... an taj'alal-Qur'ana rabi'a qalbi wa nura sadri wa jala'a huzni wa dhahaba hammi
O Allah, I am Your servant... I ask You by every name that is Yours to make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my sadness, and the relief of my worry.
Ahmad • Powerful dua for depression
Travel Duas
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ • وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ
Subhanal-ladhi sakhkhara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrinin, wa inna ila rabbina lamunqalibun
Glory be to Him who has subjected this to us, and we could never have it by our efforts. Surely, to our Lord we are to return.
Quran 43:13-14 • Beginning of journey
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ فِي سَفَرِنَا هَذَا الْبِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَى وَمِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تَرْضَى، اللَّهُمَّ هَوِّنْ عَلَيْنَا سَفَرَنَا هَذَا وَاطْوِ عَنَّا بُعْدَهُ
Allahumma inna nas'aluka fi safarina hadhal-birra wat-taqwa, wa minal-'amali ma tarda, Allahumma hawwin 'alayna safarana hadha watw 'anna bu'dah
O Allah, we ask You on this journey for righteousness, piety, and deeds pleasing to You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and shorten its distance.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِي السَّفَرِ، وَالْخَلِيفَةُ فِي الْأَهْلِ
Allahumma antas-sahibu fis-safar, wal-khalifatu fil-ahl

رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Rabbana hablana min azwajina wa dhurriyyatina qurrata a'yunin waj'alna lil-muttaqina imama
Our Lord, grant us from our spouses and children comfort to our eyes and make us leaders of the righteous.
Quran 25:74 • For righteous spouse & children
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ
Rabbi habli min ladunka dhurriyyatan tayyibah, innaka sami'ud-du'a
My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication.
Quran 3:38 • Dua of Prophet Zakariya for children
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمَا وَبَارِكْ عَلَيْهِمَا وَاجْمَعْ بَيْنَهُمَا فِي خَيْرٍ
Allahumma barik lahuma wa barik 'alayhima wajma' baynahuma fi khayr
O Allah, bless them both, bless for them, and unite them in goodness.
Abu Dawood • Wedding/marriage dua
رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ
Rabbij-'alni muqeemas-salati wa min dhurriyyati rabbana wa taqabbal du'a
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي • وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي • وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي • يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
Rabbi ishrah li sadri, wa yassir li amri, wahlul 'uqdatan min lisani, yafqahu qawli
My Lord, expand for me my breast, ease for me my task, untie the knot from my tongue that they may understand my speech.

Quran 20:114 • Daily dua for students
اللَّهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلًا وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلًا
Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja'altahu sahla, wa anta taj'alul-hazna idha shi'ta sahla
O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy, and You make difficulty easy if You wish.
Ibn Hibban • For difficult subjects & tasks
اللَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي وَعَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي وَزِدْنِي عِلْمًا
Allahumman-fa'ni bima 'allamtani wa 'allimni ma yanfa'uni wa zidni 'ilma
O Allah, benefit me with what You have taught me, teach me what will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْمَأْثَمِ وَالْمَغْرَمِ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-ma'thami wal-maghram
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from sin and heavy debt.
Bukhari • Protection from debt burden
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Allahumma-kfini bi-halalika 'an haramika wa aghnini bi-fadlika 'amman siwaka
O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful instead of unlawful, and make me independent by Your bounty of all others besides You.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الْعَدُوِّ وَشَمَاتَةِ الأَعْدَاءِ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa ghalabatil-'aduwwi wa shamatil-a'da
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from being overcome by debt, being overcome by the enemy, and the gloating of enemies.

وَبِصَوْمِ غَدٍ نَّوَيْتُ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ
Wa bisawmi ghadin nawytu min shahri Ramadan
I intend to fast tomorrow for the month of Ramadan.
Intention at sahur
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ
Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika amantu wa 'alayka tawakkaltu wa 'ala rizqika aftartu
O Allah, I fasted for You, I believe in You, I place my trust in You, and I break my fast with Your provision.
Abu Dawood • Before breaking fast
ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
Dhahaba al-zama' wabtallat al-'uruq wa thabata al-ajr insha'Allah
The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.

اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
Allahumma bismika amutu wa ahya
O Allah, in Your name I die and I live.
Bukhari • Before sleep
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilayhin-nushur
All praise is for Allah who gave us life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.

Allahumma qini 'adhabaka yawma tab'athu 'ibadak (3 times)

Protection & Safety
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ الَّتِي لَا يُجَاوِزُهُنَّ بَرٌّ وَلَا فَاجِرٌ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَذَرَأَ وَبَرَأَ
A'udhu bi-kalimatillahit-tammat-illati la yujawizuhunna barrun wa la fajirun min sharri ma khalaqa wa dhara'a wa bara'a
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah which neither righteous nor wicked can transgress, from the evil of what He has created, made, and brought into being.
Ahmad • Complete protection from evil
اللَّهُمَّ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيكَهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي وَشَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ
Allahumma 'alimal-ghaybi wash-shahadah fatiras-samawati wal-ard... a'udhu bika min sharri nafsi wa sharrish-shaytani wa shirkihi
O Allah, Knower of the unseen and seen, Creator of heavens and earth... I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul, the evil of Satan, and his invitation to polytheism.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبَرَصِ وَالْجُنُونِ وَالْجُذَامِ وَمِنْ سَيِّئِ الْأَسْقَامِ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-barasi wal-jununi wal-judhami wa min sayyi'il-asqam
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from leprosy, insanity, leprosy, and evil diseases.

Forgiveness & Repentance
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيَّ الْقَيُّومَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
Astaghfirullahallathi la ilaha illa huwal-hayyul-qayyum wa atubu ilayh
I seek forgiveness from Allah, there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, and I repent to Him.
Abu Dawood • Master of seeking forgiveness
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ (١٠٠ مرة)
Rabbigh-fir li wa tub 'alayya, innaka antat-tawwabur-rahim (100 times)
My Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance, for You are the Accepter of Repentance, the Merciful. (100 times)
Abu Dawood • Prophet recited 100x in one sitting
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Allahumma anta rabbi la ilaha illa anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka... fa-ghfir li fa-innahu la yaghfiru adh-dhunuba illa anta
O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no deity except You. You created me and I am Your servant... Forgive me, for no one forgives sins except You.
Bukhari • Sayyidul Istighfar - Most powerful
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lanakoonanna minal-khasireen
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
Allahumma a'inni 'ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni 'ibadatik
O Allah, help me to remember You, thank You, and worship You in the best manner.
Abu Dawood • After every salah
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مُسْلِمِينَ
Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi at'amana wa saqana wa ja'alana muslimin
All praise is for Allah who fed us, gave us drink, and made us Muslims.
Abu Dawood • After eating
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَةٍ
Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi kasani hadha wa razaqaneehi min ghayri hawlin minni wa la quwwah
All praise is for Allah who clothed me with this and provided it for me without any power or strength from me.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى
Allahumma inni as'alukal-huda wat-tuqa wal-'afafa wal-ghina
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency.
Muslim • Comprehensive dua for life
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ (٣ مرات)
Allahumma inni as'alukal-jannata wa a'udhu bika minan-nar (3 times)

Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana ba'da idh hadaytana wa hab lana min ladunka rahmah, innaka antal-wahhab
Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us mercy from Yourself. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
Quran 3:8 • For steadfastness on Islam
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ
Rabbi awzi'ni an ashkura ni'matakal-lati an'amta 'alayya wa 'ala walidayya wa an a'mala salihan tardah
My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do righteousness that You approve.
Quran 46:15 • For gratitude & righteous deeds
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ
Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, bi-rahmatika astaghith, aslih li sha'ni kullahu wa la takilni ila nafsi tarfata 'ayn
O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, by Your mercy I seek help. Rectify all my affairs and do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye.
